ALWAYS AIM FOR THE MOON ...
We believe that there is a kind of beauty that can transcend time and become eternal.

He's a painter; in Hungary, he's an alternative theater director; in Japan, he's been invited by the government to help modernize the ancestral know-how of washi paper making; in France, he's recognized as a gilding alchemist, and his workshop has been awarded the prestigious "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" distinction.
But Gabor Ulveczki is above all a man of curiosity and a lover of nature. Whether it's expressing natural forms or respecting the particularities of the materials he works with. He seeks to combine the two as harmoniously as possible, to achieve an effect of "seeing without looking, hearing without listening, breathing naturally", to quote the poet W.H. Auden. This philosophy inspires all his work. Today, he has found a new way to convey his emotions: textiles. A new story to be discovered.
